These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Tutorly AI mobile application ("App," "Service"), operated by LeadRescue LLC ("we," "us," "our"). By creating an account or using the App, you (or, if you are a minor, your parent/guardian on your behalf) agree to these Terms.
The Service
Tutorly AI is a curriculum-specific AI exam-prep and homework tutoring app. It uses artificial intelligence, grounded on national curriculum and past-exam content for your selected country, to answer questions, explain concepts, and generate practice exam responses.
Eligibility and accounts
- You must provide accurate registration information, including your country and, for age-gated features, your grade level.
- One account per user. Accounts are non-transferable.
- If you are under the age of consent defined by your country's law, your parent/guardian must complete the parental-consent process described in our Privacy Policy before your account is activated, and your parent/guardian is responsible for your use of the Service under these Terms.
- You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity on your account.
Subscriptions, pricing, and billing
- Free tier: a limited number of Q&A queries per day, without exam-mode features.
- Pro Monthly and Pro Annual subscriptions unlock unlimited/expanded daily queries and exam-mode grading, at the price shown in the app for your country at time of purchase.
- All payments are processed through Google Play Billing. We do not directly process or store your payment credentials.
- Subscriptions renew automatically at the then-current price unless cancelled before the renewal date through Google Play's subscription management.
- Prices are set per country/currency and may be adjusted from time to time; continued use after a price change communicated in advance constitutes acceptance of the new price for the next renewal cycle.
- In markets with high local-currency volatility (e.g., Nigeria/NGN), local pricing may be reviewed and adjusted more frequently to preserve the intended USD-equivalent value. Any price change is shown in-app and via Google Play before it takes effect for renewal.
Refunds and cancellations
- Cancel anytime via Google Play subscription settings; cancellation stops future renewals but does not automatically refund the current billing period.
- Refund requests are handled per Google Play's refund policy in the first instance. Where local consumer-protection law grants additional refund/cooling-off rights, those rights apply and are not limited by these Terms.
- We do not offer refunds for partial use of a billing period except where required by Google Play policy or local law.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service to cheat during a live, proctored examination in violation of your school's or exam board's rules — Tutorly AI is a study/practice tool, not a real-time exam-cheating tool.
- Submit unlawful, abusive, hateful, sexually explicit, or infringing content.
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or extract the underlying curriculum corpus or AI model outputs for resale or redistribution.
- Circumvent free-tier limits, subscription checks, or account restrictions.
- Use the Service to generate or distribute plagiarized coursework in violation of your school's academic-integrity policy.
- Impersonate another person or misuse a parent/guardian consent flow.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate this section.
AI-generated content disclaimer
Tutorly AI's answers, explanations, and exam-practice grading are generated by artificial intelligence models. AI-generated tutoring answers may contain errors, omissions, or outdated information, including on curriculum content, past-exam questions, and marking-scheme grading. AI grading of practice exam answers is an estimate, not an official or guaranteed grade.
Tutorly AI is a study aid and is not a substitute for your official curriculum materials, textbooks, teachers, or your exam board's official guidance. Always verify important facts, formulas, and marking-scheme interpretations against your official school materials or a teacher before relying on them for graded schoolwork or a real examination.
We do not guarantee that any answer is complete, current, or free of error, and we are not liable for exam or academic outcomes resulting from reliance on AI-generated content, to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law.
Intellectual property
The Tutorly AI app, brand, and underlying software are owned by LeadRescue LLC. Curriculum source material (national syllabi, past-exam papers) is used under a documented content-sourcing policy that respects each exam board's redistribution restrictions. You retain ownership of the questions and content you submit ("Chat Content"), and grant us a license to process it solely to provide and improve the Service, as described in our Privacy Policy.
Disclaimers and limitation of liability
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind except as required by applicable law. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable local law, LeadRescue LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the Service, including exam performance or academic outcomes. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be excluded under applicable local consumer-protection law.
Minors and parental responsibility
Where a parent/guardian has provided consent for a minor's account, the parent/guardian confirms they have authority to consent on the minor's behalf under local law, remains responsible for the minor's compliance with these Terms, and may request data export, correction, or deletion for the minor's account at any time, as described in our Privacy Policy.
Changes to the Service and these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified in-app before taking effect. Continued use after the effective date of updated Terms constitutes acceptance, except where local law requires renewed affirmative consent.
Governing law and disputes
Governing law and dispute-resolution mechanisms, including any required local venue, small-claims, or consumer-arbitration provisions, are applied consistent with each launch territory's mandatory local consumer-protection law.
